about

This is a very obscure piano piece by Hoagy Carmichael that dates from 1933; it was the "B" side of "Stardust" originally released on the RCA Victor label, and it's so ahead of its time in its harmonic structure and syncopation patterns. It's also very difficult to play! I don't know for sure, but I bet it's his interpretation of what, say a comet in outer space is like. Hubble had already formulated his theory of the expanding universe at about the same time
